We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Retail Leasing Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing retail leasing opportunities, building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and investors, and supporting the growth of our retail property portfolio.

This role requires a strong understanding of the retail real estate market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to identify opportunities that create value for both landlords and retailers.

The location of this position could be either our Lisbon or Maia offices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new retail leasing opportunities across shopping centres, high streets, retail parks, and mixed-use developments. - Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property owners, retailers, investors, and other key stakeholders. - Source and attract suitable retail tenants in line with property strategies and asset positioning. - Manage the leasing process from initial enquiry and property viewings through to negotiation and execution of lease agreements. - Conduct market research and monitor retail trends, rental levels, demand, and competitor activity. - Prepare leasing proposals, presentations, financial analyses, and commercial recommendations. - Negotiate commercial terms, including rents, lease periods, incentives, fit-out contributions, and other key lease conditions. - Work closely with landlords, asset managers, property managers, legal advisors, and other consultants to ensure smooth transaction execution. - Proactively identify potential tenants and develop targeted leasing strategies for vacant units. - Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects, negotiations, and leasing opportunities. - Support the development and implementation of retail leasing and asset strategies. - Attend property inspections, client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities. - Achieve agreed leasing targets and contribute to the overall commercial performance of the business.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in retail leasing, commercial real estate, property consultancy, or a related field. - Strong understanding of the retail property market and tenant landscape. - Proven track record in business development, leasing, sales, or commercial negotiations. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong commercial awareness and ability to analyse and understand financial and market data. - Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders. - Highly organised, proactive, and results-oriented approach. - Strong presentation and business development skills.
