What the job actually involves

Day to day you will be closerHire is partnering with a leading travel management, corporate card, and expense management company to recruit a Senior Business Travel, consultant to join their, portugal-based team. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to corporate travelers, handling bookings for accommodations, flights, rail travel, and other business travel services. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless travel arrangements, assisting with self-service tools, and ensuring compliance with company and customer policies. This is a full-time position, offering the flexibility of remote work across, portugal or a hybrid model in Lisbon. Key Responsibilities, provide customer support via chat, calls, and emails, ensuring a smooth travel experience, stay up to date with relevant travel information, destinations, and service providers, and assess customer needs, urgency, and preferences efficiently.

You will also handle handle complex travel bookings, including flights, rail, accommodations, and additional services, assist customers with self-service options on travel platforms and apps, and ensure responses are timely and aligned with service level agreements (SLAs).

Getting you there

To help you make the move: case by case but currently not covered by our client - candidates can work remotely anywhere in PT and relocate on their own, and notes: hybrid from Lisbon or Remote in Portugal. English assessment, where they need to score 6.9 or above in writing and speaking. GDS assessment they need to score minimum 48 points. Must have 3 years experience as travel consultant our client.

Living in Portugal
