What You'll do: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Quarkus or Spring . - Build modern, maintainable frontend applications using Angular . - Contribute to the design and implementation of micro frontend architectures , where applicable. - Develop and integrate event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka . - Work with both relational and non-relational databases , ensuring efficient and reliable data management. - Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes . - Contribute to DevOps practices , including CI/CD, automation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. - Develop and operate cloud-native solutions, with a strong focus on AWS . - Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. - Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions. - Write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in Portuguese and English . - Continuously explore and adopt technologies and practices that improve scalability, reliability, security, and developer experience . - Hybrid work model (once a week Lisbon) Who You Are: - 5+ years of professional experience in software development. - Strong experience developing microservices with Java , using Quarkus or Spring . - Hands-on experience with Angular and modern frontend development - Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases . - Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures. - Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes . - Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD . - Experience working with cloud environments , particularly AWS . - Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English , both written and spoken. - Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is a plus. - Experience with micro frontends is valued. ~ J ava, Cloud, or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
