Lead Frontend Engineer

We would like to meet a

Lead Frontend Engineer

for a

hybrid project based in Porto, Lisboa, Viseu or Coimbra.

Requirements: 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with at least 2 years working extensively in

React . Practical experience integrating

AI features

into front-end applications. Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team of engineers (formally or as a tech lead). Strong proficiency in

JavaScript/TypeScript , modern React (hooks, context, component patterns), and CSS/styling frameworks. Solid understanding of front-end architecture: state management ( Redux, Zustand, React Query , etc.), routing, performance optimization, and testing. Experience with

REST

or

GraphQL APIs

and integrating front-end applications with backend services. Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines ,

version control (Git) , and

agile

development practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to balance hands-on coding with people leadership. A track record of shipping production-quality software in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) is a plus. Fluency in

English .
