Junior Product Owner

We would like to meet a Junior Product Owner for a project in Lisbon.

Responsibilities:

- Support Product Managers and experienced Product Owners in the definition, clarification, and tracking of product requirements. - Assist in creating, refining, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog and user stories. - Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement sessions, daily stand-ups, and reviews. - Follow up on development tasks, dependencies, risks, and blockers, ensuring timely communication with relevant stakeholders. - Support the clarification of requirements and acceptance criteria with Product Owners and development teams. - Contribute to the tracking of product roadmap and delivery activities. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation. - Maintain clear and up-to-date product and project documentation. - Continuously develop knowledge of agile methodologies, product management practices, and IT delivery processes.

Requirements:

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field. - Some experience in an IT or agile project environment, through an internship, academic project, or junior professional role. - Basic understanding of software development processes, product lifecycle, and agile methodologies. - Basic experience with backlog management, including creating, refining, and maintaining user stories. - Familiarity with backlog and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. - Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with Product Owners, Product Managers, developers, and other stakeholders. - Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and motivation to grow within an agile team. - Basic understanding of dependencies, risks, blockers, and task tracking. - Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus. - Experience supporting product vision, roadmap, or delivery activities is a plus. - Fluent in English (mandatory).
