We are looking for a Java Developer
MAIN TASKS
- Design, develop, and maintain insurance product solutions within a risk exchange platform. - Build scalable, high-performance, and maintainable applications using Java. - Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and Agile development processes. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. - Develop, optimize, and support SQL and MongoDB databases. - Conduct code reviews and contribute to software quality improvements. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner. - Contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform by adopting industry best practices and emerging technologies.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Java Developer. - Strong expertise in Java development and object-oriented programming. - Proven experience working in Agile environments, particularly Scrum. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices. - Solid knowledge of SQL databases and database design. - Experience working with MongoDB and NoSQL databases. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Fluency in English (written and spoken). - Fully remote position, with candidates required to reside in Portugal.
WHAT WE OFFER
