Test Analyst – French Speaker

Test Analyst – French Speaker | Lisbon or Porto | Hybrid

We are looking for a Test Analyst to join an established Test Centre supporting business-critical projects within the Savings and Protection areas.

The role will be focused on test design, test execution, defect management and reporting , working within a mature testing methodology and collaborating closely with Test Leads, Business Analysts and project stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, prepare and execute functional test scenarios and test cases.
• Contribute to test planning and prioritization according to project requirements.
• Prepare, validate and communicate test deliverables.
• Record test scenarios, execution results and evidence in the appropriate testing tools.
• Identify, document and follow up defects and anomalies.
• Report risks related to quality, scope or delivery timelines.
• Provide the necessary testing information to support Go/No-Go decisions .
• Monitor testing progress and provide regular feedback to the Test Lead and relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and methodologies.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality throughout the testing lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Software Testing / Test Analysis.
• Experience designing and executing test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
• Ability to create and manage a test schedule .
• Experience with defect/anomaly management, risk identification and reporting .
• Good understanding of testing methodologies and terminology;
  ISTQB knowledgeis valued .
• French is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work effectively in demanding project environments.
• Availability to travel within and outside Portugal when required.

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of testing experience.
• Experience with ALM Octane .
• Knowledge of SQL and API testing .
• Knowledge of SAS .
• Knowledge of Control-M or other scheduling tools .
• Previous experience testing applications within Banking, Insurance, Savings or Protection environments.
