We are looking for a Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist!

Responsibilities:

- Manage the lifecycle of software licenses and software assets. - Monitor acquired, assigned, installed, and effectively used licenses, identifying discrepancies and optimization opportunities. - Support consulting activities by collecting evidence for compliance analyses and Effective License Position (ELP) assessments. - Identify idle, underutilized, or unsuitable licenses based on users’ actual usage profiles. - Propose license reharvesting, downgrading, reuse, and optimization actions, with a focus on cost efficiency. - Monitor changes in licensing models and licensing metrics from major software vendors. - Support renewal, procurement, true-up/true-down, and vendor negotiation processes. - Support software vendor audits and compliance processes.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM). - Strong analytical and investigative skills. - Ability to work with large volumes of data and identify inconsistencies. - Financial awareness and a strong focus on cost optimization. - Ability to interpret contracts and complex licensing rules. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills with technical, financial, and business teams. - Fluent English. - Proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities. - Ability to translate technical analysis into clear information and executive recommendations.
