We are looking for a Finance/Data Anlayst

We are looking for a Financial Data Analyst / BI Analyst to join our team in Porto, combining strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of Finance. The role has an approximately 50/50 split between Data & BI and Finance, with a strong focus on Power BI, data modelling, reporting, reconciliation and internal stakeholder support:

Main Tasks

- Aggregate and consolidate data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, consistency and reliability. - Build data models and Power BI dashboards from scratch, translating business and financial needs into clear and actionable reporting solutions. - Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, using Power Query and DAX to transform data and create relevant KPIs and metrics. - Support financial closing and reconciliation activities, analysing discrepancies and ensuring the accuracy of financial information. - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing data-driven insights and reporting solutions.

Requirements

- 3–4 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance Analytics, Controlling or a related field. - Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX and Power Query, with the ability to develop dashboards and data models independently. - Advanced Excel skills and a strong analytical mindset; some exposure to Python is valued. - Academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field combining Finance and Technology. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and business-oriented approach. - Hybrid model in Porto Office
