SAP FI Consultant (Accounts Payable)

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant with a strong focus on Accounts Payable (AP) to join an international project currently undergoing a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation .

This is an exciting opportunity to act as the bridge between business and technology, supporting the evolution of financial processes within a global environment.

🧡 About the Project

You will join a long-term SAP S/4HANA implementation program that has been running for several years and is being delivered in partnership with an external implementation provider.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, translating business needs into functional specifications, supporting solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Support and coordinate SAP FI solution design and configuration activities.
• Focus primarily on Accounts Payable (AP) processes and related financial workflows.
• Collaborate with the external implementation partner to ensure successful delivery.
• Support testing activities, including UAT and business validations.
• Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Provide functional support and guidance to business users.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP landscape.
• Ensure process alignment with business objectives and SAP best practices.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in SAP FI, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP).
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (mandatory).
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements.
• Experience supporting SAP implementations, rollouts, or transformation programs.
• Good understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
• Experience with SAP configuration and functional support activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work between business and technical teams.
• Experience in training and supporting end-users.
• Experience with other SAP FI modules will be a plus.
• Fluent in English
