We’re Hiring | Guidewire Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Team Lead to join an international insurance transformation program and lead the delivery of innovative Guidewire solutions within a complex and dynamic environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who combines strong Guidewire expertise with people leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery capabilities.
About the Project
You will join a large-scale insurance transformation program focused on modernizing core insurance platforms using the Guidewire Suite.
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, delivery managers, and development teams, ensuring the successful implementation and evolution of Guidewire solutions while mentoring and supporting a team of Guidewire specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Guidewire Developers and Consultants. - Act as the primary technical reference for Guidewire-related initiatives. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. - Coordinate and oversee the design, development, customization, and integration of Guidewire applications. - Ensure development best practices, code quality, and technical standards are followed. - Support architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making. - Manage workload distribution, priorities, risks, and dependencies across the team. - Coordinate with QA, Architecture, DevOps, and Business teams to ensure successful delivery. - Support sprint planning, estimations, releases, and deployment activities. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Guidewire platforms and development processes. - Provide coaching, technical guidance, and performance support to team members.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working with Guidewire solutions. - Previous experience as a Team Lead, Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or similar leadership role. - Strong knowledge of one or more Guidewire products: - Guidewire PolicyCenter - Guidewire ClaimCenter - Guidewire BillingCenter - Experience with Guidewire integrations and configuration. - Strong development experience with: Gosu, Java, SQL,REST/SOAP APIs. - Experience working within Agile delivery environments. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices. - Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to balance technical leadership with team management responsibilities. - Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- Guidewire certifications. - Experience with Guidewire Cloud. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Experience leading distributed or international teams.
