Join a multinational pharmaceutical company assuming the R&D Quality Auditor – GCP & GLP position, based in Lisbon.

Your new role

This professional will be responsible for evaluating and contributing to compliance with GLP and GCP regulations, conducting audits and managing external partners throughout their quality lifecycle. This person will oversee qualification plans, audit and quality plans, risk-based monitoring, performance evaluations and supplier risk management, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support high-quality pre-clinical and clinical trial operations. The role includes audits to CROs, suppliers and clinical investigation sites, ensuring compliance with protocols, GCP, GLP and applicable regulatory requirements. This professional will also establish and maintain quality agreements, identify supplier weaknesses, define corrective actions and follow up on improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a professional with an academic background in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in clinical and/or non-clinical development environments. Previous experience conducting audits is preferable, ideally within GCP and/or GLP settings, with GCP experience being particularly valued. Experience auditing CROs, suppliers or clinical investigation sites will be important, and CRA profiles may also be considered if they bring strong exposure to audit processes and scientific knowledge. Fluency in English is mandatory, as well as strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Availability to travel is required, as around 25% of the time will be spent travelling for audits. Knowledge of Animal Welfare topics will be considered a plus.
