Scope of the Role
We are looking for a Global Business Development Manager to drive our overall business growth and account development across India and Europe, based out of Vandey, India office. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, broad international exposure, and the ability to build and manage relationships with partners and customers across these markets, with periodic on-site travel.
This role will work closely with the leadership team to translate business objectives into effective go-to market strategies and ensure smooth, efficient execution across Europe.
Main Responsibility and Activities
➤ Identify, pursue and close new business partnership opportunities across Europe.
➤ Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, customers and stakeholders across these markets.
➤ Develop and execute a go-to-market and account growth strategy
➤ Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows and industry events, including travel to Portugal, other parts of Europe and other relevant locations.
➤ Coordinate business development activity and priorities across Europe as required by the business.
➤ Collaborate closely with India-based sales, marketing and product teams to align strategy with company goals.
➤ Provide regular market intelligence, competitor analysis and pipeline reporting to leadership.
Education Qualification & Skills Required
➤ MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
➤ 2-5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or a client-facing commercial role (international/cross-border experience preferred).
➤ Working knowledge of the European business environment
➤ Fluency in English (professional working proficiency); additional European languages is a plus. ➤ Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
➤ Willingness to be based in India for the duration of the assignment (1 year) with regular international travel to meet partners and customers across Europe
➤ Must be eligible to obtain the relevant Indian work visa/employment authorization for the assignment period.
