CloserHire is partnering with a global leader in customer experience and technology solutions to recruit a Italian-speaking Customer Service Representative for an insurance-related project in Lisbon, Portugal. In this role, you’ll support clients in managing their insurance policies, handling inquiries, claims, and policy changes while ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience. Day to day that means handle incoming calls and chats from customers with inquiries about their insurance policies, process service requests in the client’s policy administration system, compose and send responses to emails and letters, including contract documents and policy information, conduct indexation and electronic archiving using internal document management tools, manage requests for policy changes, including updating payment methods, support customers with claims submissions and policy cancellations, and maintain a high level of service quality and meet client-specific performance targets.

What you need

• Eligible to work in Portugal
• Proactive and motivated to maintain a high standard of performance
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
• Professional, diplomatic, and solution-oriented approach to handling customer queries
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in customer service is considered an advantage
• Native-level fluency in Italian (C2) and proficient in English (B2)
