We are looking for a creative skilled and AI-savvy Graphic Designer to join our Digital Team.

The role and your mission:

At Salt were on a mission to transform Digital and to do so we are looking for a creative technical and versatile Graphic Designer. If you have a creative vision are fast in execution have a strong visual judgement and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously you need to join our team! Were especially keen to hear from candidates who are genuinely curious about AI and how its reshaping the creative process from ideation to final execution and who are always looking to experiment with new tools to design faster smarter and more creatively.

In this role you will be responsible for designing intuitive engaging and visually stunning digital experiences that meet customer needs while driving digital sales. You will developing visual campaigns adaptations and creative concepts for Salt and its sub-brands. For this mission we are looking for a team member that is innovative energetic and has deep expertise in Figma as well as AI tools such as Magnific Runway and ChatGPT. In addition to campaign work you will occasionally contribute to web-related visual resources so knowledge of UX/UI and digital design focused on user experience is highly valued.

You will be part of the Digital Team and you will collaborate closely (and daily!) with cross-functional teams especially with Digital Marketing Communications and Product Management.

Your work:

Drive and contribute to the mission of the Digital team to increase online sales

Drive AI transformation within the Digital Teams graphic design practice testing and rolling out new AI features and tools that improve design quality speed up concept development and reduce time to market

Design visual concepts for digital campaigns for Salt and its sub-brands GoMo Lidl Connect Post Mobile using AI tools such as ChatGPT Magnific etc.

Adapt & execute the overall campaign concept for all performance marketing channels (e.g. Google Meta) and digital partners optimizing visuals according to each platforms technical specifications and safe zones

Adapt and resize materials for different formats and channels (social media display video etc.)

Develop short animations or motion graphics for campaigns using AI tools such as Runway

Participate in creative ideation and concept development processes aligning with multiple stakeholders across the commercial unit: Marketing Communications Digital Sales Product Management

Create web assets such as icons illustrations or UI elements

Collaborate with the eCommerce Team on UX/UI design tasks contributing both aesthetic and functional insights

Use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance workflow and visual quality such as ChatGPT or Runway

Continuously explore test and champion new AI design tools and workflows bringing fresh ideas on how AI can improve creative quality speed and consistency across the team

What you bring:

Proven experience in digital graphic design

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator After Effects etc.) and advanced skills in Figma

Proficiency with generic AI tools (ChatGPT) and AI tools applied to design (Adobe Firefly Magnific Runway ChatGPT etc.) proven record of using them for your work

Genuine curiosity about AI and its evolving role in design comfortable picking up new AI tools quickly and adapting your workflow as the landscape changes

Solid prompt-writing skills for AI image video and copy generation tools with an eye for refining outputs into production-ready assets

Knowledge of motion design or animation

Understanding of UX/UI design and responsive web design

Experience creating iconography illustrations and digital visual assets

Strong understanding of digital formats safe zones and visual best practices across different platforms and channels

Strong grasp of branding composition and visual storytelling

Strong visual judgement and the ability to distil complex briefs messages and ideas into simple engaging and impactful visual concepts

Ability to translate campaign briefs into strong visual ideas using a combination of AI tools and traditional design workflows

Ability to adapt creative concepts across different digital channels and formats ensuring visual consistency while respecting each platforms specifications and safe zones

Ability to work efficiently independently and with great attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
