CALB is looking for a PPQC Expert – Process/Production Quality & Calibration to join our team.
Responsibilities
The Process/Production Quality & Calibration expert is responsible for ensuring robust and capable manufacturing processes through process-quality planning, capability monitoring, process audits, measurement-system control, calibration management, and metrology governance.
- Lead process-quality requirements during equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and industrialization. - Review Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, special characteristics, and reaction plans with Engineering and Manufacturing teams. - Define and monitor process capability and SPC requirements to ensure manufacturing excellence. - Lead MSA strategies and ensure measurement systems are capable for their intended use. - Manage calibration and measurement equipment, ensuring traceability and assessing out-of-calibration impacts. - Plan and execute process audits while supporting layered process audit governance. - Analyze process-quality trends and drive continuous process improvements. - Support change management activities and process requalification following significant changes.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Metrology, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in Process Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Metrology, or Calibration within automotive, battery, or high-volume manufacturing environments. - Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Process Capability, MSA, Calibration, and Process Audits. - Experience with VDA 6.3 audits and laboratory/accreditation systems is considered an advantage. - Proficiency in English and Portuguese. - Willingness to work in a dynamic, multi-cultural, fast-paced environment.
