About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Agentic Developer / Solution Architect to design and develop enterprise-grade AI solutions within the SAP ecosystem.

The professional will focus on Agentic AI, multi-agent architectures, LangGraph, Python backend development, RAG, cloud services, and enterprise integrations, collaborating with international teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable multi-agent AI systems using LangGraph.
• Develop Human-in-the-Loop workflows, checkpoint persistence, deterministic execution flows, and agent orchestration.
• Implement A2A and MCP integrations, RAG pipelines, and semantic search solutions.
• Develop asynchronous Python backend services using FastAPI, Starlette, or equivalent frameworks.
• Implement AI observability, evaluation frameworks, performance monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Define solution architectures, API contracts, data schemas, integration patterns, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, and production reliability.
• Collaborate with international teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality AI solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of overall professional experience, including relevant hands-on development and solution architecture experience.
• Strong experience with LangGraph, Agentic AI, multi-agent architectures, Human-in-the-Loop workflows, and checkpoint persistence.
• Knowledge of Transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, tool calling, prompt engineering, security, and responsible AI.
• Experience with A2A protocols, MCP integrations, RAG, semantic search, vector databases, and context ingestion.
• Experience with MLflow, experiment tracking, AI observability, and HANA Cloud Vector Engine or equivalent technologies.
• Advanced Python development, including Python 3.13, asyncio, async/await, event-loop management, FastAPI or Starlette.
• Experience with pytest, pytest-asyncio, API design, architecture documentation, and ADRs.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.
• Proven experience delivering production-grade AI and backend solutions.
• Fluent English and availability for occasional travel to Walldorf, Germany.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, MTA deployments, SAP AI Core, Generative AI Hub, and SAP SDK.
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Kibana, Databricks, and MLflow hosting.
• Experience with identity propagation and enterprise authorization patterns.
• Familiarity with Ruff, mypy, pre-commit, and N8N workflow automation.
• Knowledge of the EU AI Act and responsible AI practices.
