Job Purpose
Coordinate the Portugal MKT strategy working in cross-functional way with the rest of departments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy
- Analyze market sales data to identify trends and competitive dynamics.
- Define the patient journey to guide strategic planning and material development.
- Collaborate on ad hoc projects such as congresses and educational initiatives (e.g., Living Materials).
- Gather insights from the field to create innovative materials for sales representatives.
- Manage the full lifecycle of promotional materials, from approval to distribution.
Franchise Projects & Initiatives
Lead the development and execution of short- and long-term marketing plans across multiple franchises, including new product launches (e.g., Osteoporosis) and support for mature products.Contribute to strengthening omnichannel leadership through innovative ideas and programs.Coordinate and manage the marketing budget, overseeing the full process from purchase orders to payments.Represent Portugal in global communications and conference calls, sharing local needs and best practices.KOLs and Scientific Societies Engagement
Define and implement a local engagement plan for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), based on segmentation and targeting.Enhance customer experience using the ladder of adoption framework; identify rising stars and consolidate relationships with established advocates.Act as the primary contact for scientific societies and patient associations. Digital Marketing & AnalyticsDevelop and execute digital marketing campaigns across channels (e.g., email, social media, SEO / SEM).Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools to optimize engagement and ROI.Ensure digital content aligns with brand strategy and customer needs.Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, and Market Access teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies.Serve as a key liaison between local and regional / global teams to ensure consistency and local relevance.Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor strategies.Translate insights into actionable marketing strategies and tactics that drive business growth.Compliance
Ensure adherence to the our Cliente Code of Conduct and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Maintain compliance with Portuguese laws and regulations, requiring solid knowledge of local regulatory frameworks.Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field (required).Master's degree in Marketing, Pharmaceutical Management, or Healthcare (preferred but not mandatory).Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Fluency in Portuguese (required) and proficiency in English (written and spoken).Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM or marketing automation tools.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.Proactive and hands-on, with a strong personal drive and ownership mindset.Results-oriented, focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities.Innovation-driven, with a passion for continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.Team-oriented, with excellent collaboration skills across departments.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Knowledge of Portuguese pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards is a strong advantage.
