TASKS
- Technical responsibility : You are responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of test strategies and test plans to ensure the quality of our software products
- Methodology & process design : You apply test methodologies and actively shape the software testing life cycle within an agile development environment
- Cooperation and coordination : You collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to analyze defects and ensure fast resolution
- Test execution : You carry out manual and automated tests and evaluate software performance and compliance with requirements and specifications
- Defect management : You identify, document, and track software defects using common tools (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Test documentation : You create, update, and maintain test cases and test data, and report on test progress and results
- Training and support : You provide training for users and are available as a competent contact person for all questions relating to production and planning processes
- Quality improvement : You continuously improve testing processes, tools, and documentation to increase efficiency and software quality
PROFILE
Professional experience : You have experience in software testing and are familiar with test automation tools such as TestComplete or similarSpecialist knowledge : You ideally have experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) and understand the basics of quality assurance in agile software development, you are confident in working with bug tracking systems such as JIRA, Bugzilla or comparable platformsAnalytical skills : You have a strong problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for quality, enabling you to detect weaknesses and ensure reliable test coverageStrong communication skills : You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, and can convey complex topics clearly and effectivelyIndependent way of working : You work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented mannerLanguage skills : You have very good English skillsSchüco Iberia S.L.
