Descrição do cargo3+ years of experience in Database Administration Proficiency in at least one of the following : Oracle , SQL Server , or PostgreSQL Strong knowledge of high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations Familiar with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Skilled in SQL performance tuning , query optimization , and indexing Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus , Zabbix , or Nagios Ability to write scripts in Shell , PowerShell , or Python for automation Experience with security protocols , data encryption , and user access controls
We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join one of our projects in Lisbon .
Location : Hybrid – Lisbon, Portugal
Start Date : ASAP
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle , SQL Server , or PostgreSQL databases
- Configure and manage replication , failover , and clustering strategies
- Perform performance tuning , index optimization , and query analysis
- Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure data integrity , availability , and security of all managed databases
- Plan and execute migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime
- Automate routine tasks using scripts and monitoring tools
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams
- Write and maintain comprehensive documentation
