Business / Data Analyst | Lisbon (Hybrid)

About the Role :

We're looking for a Business / Data Analyst to join a global transformation team driving large-scale data and systems integration initiatives. You'll be part of a cross-functional environment, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into robust data solutions.

You'll contribute to the design of data models, execute data controls, support testing activities, and play a key role in the transition to new data platforms and processes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into detailed specifications for IT teams
  • Design efficient and standardised data models to support reporting and decision-making
  • Perform data analysis and quality checks to ensure consistency and reliability
  • Coordinate validation of new features and data structures with stakeholders
  • Contribute to data quality initiatives and execute test scenarios with development teams
  • Support go-live activities, data migration and post-implementation follow-up
  • Maintain and improve documentation to ensure knowledge sharing across teams

Tools & Tech :

  • SQL and / or ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx or similar)
  • Data modelling (logical and technical)
  • Data governance and data quality concepts
  • Knowledge of information systems and complex data flows
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

    • Languages :

  • English – Fluent (mandatory)

    • Profile :

  • 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, ideally in international environments
  • Solid experience in data-related projects and strong analytical mindset
  • Ability to understand and structure complex data from multiple sources
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable working in cross-functional teams
