Descrição do cargoPreparation of financial reports : Ensuring accuracy in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, in line with regulatory requirements Budget and planning : Participating in the preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts and monitoring results Cost control : Analysing and controlling the hotel's operating costs, identifying opportunities to improve financial efficiency Compliance and auditing : Ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory standards, supervising internal and external audits Interdepartmental collaboration : Working closely with other departments to provide financial information that supports strategic decisions Establish and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement Develop the investment plan Define the general conditions for implementing financial policies and control their execution Analyzing contracts with suppliers, partners and other external companies on legal aspects and compliance rules Responsible of Procurement department and Warehouse Reporting to the headoffice and owning company Assist the General Manager in the strategic financial decisions Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or a related field Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial control functions, preferably in the luxury hotel sector In-depth knowledge of accounting, financial control and ERP tools Analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Fluent English and Portuguese (preferred). Other languages a plus Proactivity, ability to work in a team and strategic vision Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution in hospitality business Ability to outline financial strategy, provide strategic insights, and make data-driven recommendations Relational, resilient profile with strong adaptability Excellent leadership skills Good communication skills High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism Agility and adaptability in a new business environment May require extended hours during financial reporting periods or audits Able to reside in Island of Maderia, Portugal.
