We are in constant transformation and looking for a self-motivated, proactive, and flexible Payments Analyst to join our Payments & Treasury team in Lisbon.

What does the Operations area do?

It provides service excellence in operations focusing on client needs. We do this by ensuring best practices of execution on services related to Funds, Cash/Securities Management and Settlements, Payments, Reconciliation, and Control of Credit Operational Business, as well as Account Maintenance documentation.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Assist back-office teams with daily tasks, including Payments activities such as internal movements and controls;
• Ensure OFAC check and SWIFT release;
• Ensure SWIFT queues are free;
• Perform CH and US signature verification for wire transfers;
• Track funds prospects and updates in correspondent portals;
• Assist in the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures;
• Contribute to new projects within the department;
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve documentation issues in a timely manner;
• Help ensure high-quality service and efficient operational support through diligent practices.

What are we looking for?

• Availability to work night shift (2pm to 11pm) and/or rotative schedule;
• Experience in Banking;
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word;
• Fluent in English;
• Team player with an open-minded approach towards other cultures and ability to work in an international team;
• Strong attention to details;
• Ability to work in a group and prioritize your own tasks (independently);
• Ability to perform in a high-paced environment within tight time frames;
• Fluency in Portuguese is a plus;
• Experience in Finance is a plus.
