YOUR ROLE

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Packet Core Solution Architect to integrate into a Cloud Transformation Team, to migrate legacy EPC infrastructure to cloud-based solutions.

  • Support customer projects with architecture and engineering activities for advanced mobile solutions in the domain of Packet Core EPC, focusing on 2G / 3G / LTE and 5G Stand Alone architecture.
  • Define integration and commissioning methodologies and global cloud packet core architecture, including integration and acceptance testing.
  • Engage with customers to understand network requirements and configurations, delivering design customizations.
  • Assist in implementation, architecture, call flows, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of protocols such as IP / MPLS, IGP, BGP, RSVP, LDP, and mobile network interfaces and protocols for 2G-3G-4G-5G is highly recommended.
  • Skills in virtualization technologies like Kubernetes, OpenStack, Linux, KVM, Hypervisors, VMware, and VNF configuration and management are important.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in IP Domain.
  • Good knowledge of IP networking protocols like OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, LDP, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD.
  • Understanding of VLAN switching, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP.
  • Product / vendor knowledge or certifications with Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or F5 (any two preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and proactive attitude.
