RMC Surfaces S.A. is hiring

We are a proud producer of RMC – a premium compact marble manufactured in Portugal since 1980. We are based in Oliveira do Bairro and export our products to more than 30 countries worldwide.

We are currently looking for a

RnD Specialist (M / F)

to join our team of marble enthusiasts.

Main tasks :

• Development of new products according to customer or internal requests;
• Research new tendency of materials and certifications (Competitors, Sustainability, Environmental and products certifications);
• Study and search for new raw materials;
• Research and evaluation of new tools to improve the production process and / or the final product;
• Collaboration in technical support to the customer;
• Implementation and management of product certification projects;
• Create and update the technical data sheets of the product;
• Monitoring of the industrial scale production process of a new product.

Professional and personal skills :

Knowledge in Chemistry or similar;

Experience in R&D, in a factory (pref.);

Knowledge in Excel;

Strong sense of responsibility and organization;
