We are looking for a Data Security Expert

Main Tasks:

• Assess the robustness of data protection designs, mechanisms, and cryptographic key management.
• Define security requirements and strategic guidelines for data security and cryptography.
• Provide orientation to projects on the most appropriate data security techniques (e.g., cryptography, anonymization, masking).
• Perform risk analysis and propose relevant countermeasures.
• Contribute to defining guidelines for the usage of Blockchain technologies.
• Participate in expert streams and collaborative initiatives related to cryptography and data security.
• Support technological research, innovation activities, and evaluation of emerging cryptographic solutions.
• Propose approaches for cryptographic asset inventory and crypto‐agility improvements.
• Conduct continuous technology watch and contribute to internal security knowledge sharing

Your Profile and Skills

Technical Skills

• Experience in IT Risk and Cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of cryptography concepts, algorithms, and enterprise use cases.
• Knowledge of quantum computing fundamentals and its impact on IT and security.
• Good awareness of current cybersecurity trends and best practices.
• Familiarity with security control frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.

Language Skills

• English: Mandatory.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to justify decisions clearly in writing and speech.
• Active listening and strong synthesis abilities.
• Capacity to inspire engagement and promote alignment across stakeholders.
• Ability to lead meetings, workshops, and committees.
• Critical thinking and structured problem‐solving mindset.

Hybrid work model, with presence required in Lisbon office.
