Key Responsibilities

- Design, build and implement scalable, secure and resilient cloud infrastructures in Amazon Web Services (AWS) .

- Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate cloud architectures, services and migration strategies.

- Plan and execute cloud migration projects , supporting organisations in moving workloads from on-premises or other cloud platforms to AWS.

- Design and deploy cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code and automation best practices .

- Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment challenges.

- Continuously review and optimise cloud environments for performance, cost efficiency and security .

- Ensure all deployments follow security best practices, governance models and company policies .

- Act as a trusted technical advisor , understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate AWS solutions.

- Support customers throughout their cloud adoption and modernisation journey .

- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams and internal best practices .

Critical Skills & Experience

- Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) , including compute, networking, storage and identity services.

- Hands-on experience designing and deploying AWS infrastructure environments .

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred) .

- Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts , VPC architecture and hybrid connectivity.

- Experience supporting cloud migration and modernisation projects .

- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

- Knowledge of Linux environments and system administration .

- Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash or similar).

- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex infrastructure issues.

- Experience working in customer-facing environments with a consultative mindset .

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

- 3+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering , with strong exposure to AWS environments.

- AWS certifications (Associate and/or Professional level) are highly valued.

- Certifications in Terraform or Infrastructure as Code tools are a plus.

Language Skills

- Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
