THE JOB

We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Logistics Lead - Supply and Operational Management for a project in the telecommunications sector.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Responsible for designing and implementing projects, governance and continuous improvement opportunities in Logistics, through a solid understanding of the environment and working alongside stakeholders within SCM, the business and external partners.
• Uses judgement based on functional knowledge of inventory and is expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, including : Use of methodologies to avoid over ordering / overstocking items in local markets and optimising inventory availability at lowest cost;
• Manage tactical and operational planning ensuring that supply chain plans are fully integrated with business strategies.
• Manages 3rd party Logistics operations and responsible to deliver highest service levels.
• Supports overall governance of Logistics through helping to shape standards and rules.
• Helps to identify process improvement and optimization opportunities, defining best practices and ensuring logistics processes complement one another and deliver value.
• Tracks value associated with deployed initiatives and provides insight to senior management.
• Typically reports to Logistics Manager / Head of Logistics.
