Role : Platform Engineer (Azure)

Location : 100% Remote - Portugal

Required skills :

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and practices, with a focus on cloud-native development and deployment methodologies.
• Extensive experience with the Azure cloud platform , and Azure solution architecture and best practices , including knowledge of Azure services relevant to cloud software development, AKS, networking, storage, and other Azure services relevant to Kubernetes deployments.
• Strong understanding of both infrastructure and software engineering principles, with a focus on cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes , including cluster administration, application deployment, networking, and security.
• Experience with open-source tools and technologies commonly used in Kubernetes environments, such as FluxCD , Kong , and Linkerd , and their integration with Azure.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines and GitOps principles , ideally with experience in GitHub Actions or similar tools, and their integration with Azure Resource Manager and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC Principles
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, C#, JS) .
• Understanding of user experience (UX) and developer experience (DevX) principles , with a focus on designing and building user-friendly cloud-based tools and platforms.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and zero-trust principles
