Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Controller located in Évora, Portugal. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, managing financial risks, developing and implementing financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include monitoring budgets, preparing financial forecasts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating audit processes. The Controller will also supervise the finance team and collaborate closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong financial reporting and accounting skills
• Experience in financial risk management and compliance
• Proficiency in budget monitoring and financial forecasting
• Skills in managing accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating audits
• Excellent leadership and team supervision abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Évora, Portugal
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in consulting or professional services is a plus
