Senior Integration Architect – Long Term Contract (Remote, Portugal-based)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Integration Architect for a long-term contract engagement. You will play a key role in designing and implementing integration microservices , supporting development teams, and modernizing legacy systems.

This role requires deep experience in Java Spring Boot services , Kafka , and integration architecture, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable solutions. Occasional travel may be required (0–15%).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration microservices for complex systems.
• Support development teams in building and deploying Java Spring Boot services .
• Redesign and replace legacy integrations with modern, scalable solutions.
• Work with messaging platforms, particularly Kafka , to ensure reliable data flows.
• Collaborate with functional teams to align architectural decisions with business goals.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to development teams on best practices and integration strategies.
