Global Services Finance Senior Director - HR & People. Location : Lisbon | London.

What You’ll Do
As Finance Business Partner (FBP) you will be the strategic finance advisor to the HR & People Function, partnering closely with function leaders to provide financial insight and decision support. You will help enable the organization to deliver strategic and operational priorities by ensuring financial acumen and accountability at all levels of the function. You will be part of the Global FP&A team, providing insight supported by accurate financial information to guide decision-making. You will collaborate with global leadership of business functions, senior finance management, and local, regional and global finance colleagues.
The HR & People Function is undergoing end-to-end transformation requiring close finance partnership on multiple dimensions, including :
- Further digitalization of HR & People processes to unlock scalability and improve employee experience
- Further expansion of HR shared services
The role requires close collaboration with multiple fast-paced teams, including consulting teams, HR digital portfolio squads, and others.
Responsibilities
Partner with function leadership to achieve business and financial goals of the functionProvide financial oversight for function-related investments, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and value generationDeliver against mid-term and annual cost targetsBuild a deep understanding of the function’s operational context and tailor financial advice to its specific needsStrategic Finance Leadership : serve as trusted advisor to the Function’s senior leadership, contribute to strategic decisions with financial acumenDevelop and present business cases for investments, transformations, and new initiativesPlay an activist role in key change initiatives, ensuring financial accuracy and integration into operational processesNavigate complexity, propose solutions, facilitate decision-making, translate priorities into finance processesStakeholder Engagement : partner with functional leaders to understand evolving needs and provide tailored financial insightsInterface management : collaborate with BI&A, Intercompany, Finance digital products portfolio, Global Accounting & Controlling, Global Tax, Finance Excellence, Enterprise Architecture and regional / global finance leadersPartner with HR on headcount and compensation planning; partner with procurement on vendor selection and negotiationsFinancial Planning & Analysis : oversee budgeting, accruals, forecasting, and variance analysisReporting : provide regular financial reporting to stakeholders and support month / year close to ensure data accuracyTeam Collaboration : share best practices across Global FP&A and drive continuous improvementTeam management : manage and develop direct reportsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting / economics and / or an MBAA minimum of 12+ years of finance experience (professional services preferred but not required)Deep knowledge of finance strategy – resource planning, budgeting, and investmentsExcellent communication skills and ability to influence senior managementCritical thinking and problem solving with the ability to address complex problemsStrong project management skills across multiple prioritiesSelf-driven and motivated to provide value to leadershipAdvanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for building scalable financial models and turning data into insightsWhat You’ll Bring
