Overview
Details – Hospitality, Sports, Leisure is the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports, and Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal. It oversees the management of major hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira, and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing commercial strategies with a focus on achieving profitability and growth targets, while ensuring efficiency in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, reporting directly to the Director of Sales – Hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement commercial strategies across all business segments, aligned with Hyatt brand guidelines.
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns in line with the commercial strategy to increase the hotel's visibility and drive new business, ensuring sustained growth.
- Negotiate and close contracts with tour operators, corporate clients, and business partners, securing advantageous conditions for the hotel.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to ensure the achievement of commercial objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen strategic partnerships and relationships with key clients.
- Ensure alignment with overall commercial strategy and evaluate results against defined targets.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments, identifying new business opportunities and potential threats.
- Participate in events and commercial activities to promote the hotel and expand the professional network.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure effective communication and seamless execution of strategies.
Key Qualifications
Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial leadership roles within the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on sales. Prior experience with international luxury brands such as Hyatt is preferred.Solid experience in negotiation, sales techniques and strategies, key account management, and sales performance analysis.Fluency in English (mandatory); additional languages are an asset.Ability to work under pressure and make strategic decisions in a dynamic environment.Proficiency in hotel systems such as Opera, and others;Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, when required.Results-driven profile with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Location
