Software Engineer

You will design and maintain scalable backend services, build modern web applications, develop APIs and integrations, and explore new technologies to enhance a global, cloud-based platform. Tech stack : Java, Scala, Angular

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain distributed backend services with strong fault-tolerance and scalability

Build and improve complex web applications and reusable UI components

Expand the platform to operate across multiple regions and support global users

Create reliable integrations and open the system for partner collaboration

Research and apply modern technologies, including AI, to enhance system capabilities

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various applications

Requirements

5+ years in backend development with microservices

Solid experience in any frontend

Experience with AWS

Experience building and maintaining complex web applications

Skilled in RESTful APIs, SQL, and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB)

Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.

Willingness to go to the Lisbon-based office 2 times a week

Fluent Engish

Nice to have :

Knowledge of WebSockets

Experience with Angular 13+
