  • The Opportunity

    Access Healthcare is looking for a detail-oriented Credit Controller to strengthen our Finance team in Porto. You’ll play a key role in keeping cash flow steady and financial reporting accurate, ensuring our international operations run smoothly. This is also a chance to recommend and implement process improvements that make a real difference.

    What You’ll Do

    Collections & Client Relations

    • Manage and monitor invoices to reduce overdue payments.
    • Contact corporate clients by phone and email to secure timely payment.
    • Negotiate payment plans when necessary and escalate issues as appropriate.
    • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client communications.
    • Spot opportunities to enhance processes and systems and help put those changes in place.
    • Accounts Receivable Operations

    • Process incoming payments promptly and accurately.
    • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Prepare statements, aging reports, and assist with month-end close.
    • Respond to client queries on invoices, payments, or balances.
    • Report key Accounts Receivable metrics to the leadership team.
    • What We’re Looking For

    • 1–2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, or a similar finance role.
    • Secondary education required; an accounting or finance qualification is a plus.
    • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) preferred.
    • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
