About the Job
Within RISK, the Global Practice RISK IRC is responsible for the independent review of credit, market, counterparty, insurance, and operational risks, as well as the RISK ORC function of RISK. The team conducts reviews of risk measurement systems, which can vary in scope and form, depending on regulatory or internal objectives. The Framework, Processes & Systems (FPS) team reviews all processes and information systems supporting risk measurement across the BNP Paribas Group, focusing on credit, market, or counterparty risks. Topics include :
- Information systems and data quality for risk modeling
- Systems for risk indicator production and risk-weighted assets calculation
- Internal and regulatory risk reporting processes
- Reconciliation of accounting and risk data
- Regulatory compliance and internal standards
- Use of internal rating systems
- Governance and risk management
Your Main Activities
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal procedures, and systemsPerform reviews and analyses of risk measurement systemsConduct independent reviews of BNP Paribas risk systems across countriesGenerate analysis on laws, regulations, and practicesMonitor risk systems and control weaknessesProduce high-quality reports and present findings to managementRecommend and support remediation actionsAdhere to the team’s control framework and group proceduresProfile and Skills to Succeed
Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, IT, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in banking, risk, controls, or auditProficiency in English (written and spoken)Knowledge of IT languages (R, Python) and data visualization tools (SAS)Strong analytical and synthesis skillsWhy Join BNP Paribas?
