The platform converts conversations between healthcare professionals and patients into structured notes in real time — reducing administrative workload, increasing accuracy, and giving clinicians more time to do what truly matters : care for people.This challenge will be carried out on a freelance basis through Shakers, the community that connects independent talent with high-impact international projects. What You’ll DoDesign and develop AI architectures for different contexts.Conduct AI research, exploring new methodologies, algorithms, and approaches.Identify and clearly define research problems.Formulate hypotheses and propose innovative solutions to complex challenges.Develop prototypes and validate solutions experimentally.Evaluate model performance with rigorous metrics.Document the full research cycle : problem → solution → results.Stay up to date with the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to turn research into practical applications.Share knowledge through technical reports, presentations, and publications.✅ RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in AI / Data Science.Master’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a similar field.Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory) and English.Residence in Lisbon or nearby, with 1 day / week onsite.Mid-senior profile with strong applied research skills, critical thinking, and autonomy.
