Job Title : Technical Data Product Owner

Location : Oeiras, Lisbon, Portugal

Work Regime : Full-time & Hybrid (1x office per week)

Overview / Summary :

We are looking for a Technical Data Product Owner to join our team.

Responsibilities and Tasks :

• Gather and analyze project requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into actionable technical specifications;
• Work with data engineering and analytics teams to obtain effort and cost estimations;
• Monitor, track, and report on the performance and progress of data projects;
• Contribute to the development of Python and SQL scripts to support data processing, analysis, and validation;
• Review and analyze data models to ensure alignment with business needs and technical standards;
• Collaborate with teams to prioritize backlogs, define roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery of data products;
• Act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements : Proven experience as a Product Owner, Data Engineer, or similar role in data-driven environments; Strong technical background with senior-level proficiency in Python and SQL; Hands-on experience in script development and data model analysis; Solid understanding of data project lifecycles, estimation processes, and delivery tracking; Strong communication and organizational skills to manage cross-functional stakeholders; Native Portuguese; Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a plus.
