About Us

Nearshore Portugal is a fast-growing technology partner specializing in building dedicated nearshore teams for innovative companies worldwide. Part of DevelopX group, we connect exceptional talent with international businesses, enabling scalability, agility, and excellence.

We are now looking for a Business Manager to help us expand our reach, strengthen client relationships, and support the continued growth of our nearshore delivery model.

Your Role

As Business Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial and operational management of a client portfolio in Portugal. You’ll act as the link between clients and delivery teams, ensuring projects run smoothly while developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and grow strategic client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Drive business development efforts – identify, qualify, and close new opportunities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned projects and teams, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met
  • Work closely with HR and Talent Acquisition to align recruitment with client needs
  • Provide regular reporting and business forecasts to the Managing Director
  • Represent Nearshore Portugal at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in business management, account management, or consulting (ideally in IT / nearshore / outsourcing)
  • Proven ability to develop business and grow client accounts
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (Portuguese and / or other European languages are a plus)
  • Solid understanding of technology services and delivery models
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, structured approach, and hands-on attitude
