Senior AI Engineer

Position : Senior AI Engineer

Location : Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra (Hybrid regime, 1 day per week at the office).

Main responsibilities :

Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Python and Airflow (Cloud Composer).

Work with GCP services to design and implement scalable data solutions.

Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and efficiency.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Mandatory requirements :

Proficiency in Python.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience with Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer.

Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Fluency in English.

Nice-to-have requirements :

Exposure to Generative AI (Gen AI) foundations and Large Language Models (LLMs) – at least 6 months of foundational knowledge (no hands-on experience required).
