About the role
Our Core Products — Residential & Mobile Proxies — are the backbone of SOAX and the foundation of our EBITDA.
We don't win by being "just another proxy." We win if real client success rate (not just technical uptime) is consistently higher than alternatives like Oxylabs or Bright Data — while keeping latency, cost, stability, and retention within strict guardrails.
As Product Lead for Core Products, you will be directly accountable for outcomes — measurable improvements in client success rate, latency, activation, and retention — not just delivery of features. Your ownership spans from defining the problem, to prioritizing solutions, to proving value against alternatives.

Key Responsibilities
Define and own north-star metrics — success rate (by domain / geo / ip_type), latency (P95 / 99), Time-to-Activate (≤15min), customer retention, and cost efficiency ($ / GB, margin). You are accountable for moving these numbers in production and proving causality between product decisions and customer outcomes.
Build comparative metrics vs. competitors and ensure SOAX consistently delivers superior outcomes, not parity.
Develop heuristics and telemetry to detect CAPTCHAs, retries, and silent failures under HTTPS. Build actionable monitoring that surfaces real SR issues before the client flags them.
Partner with engineering leads to optimize rotation, stickiness, failover, and routing. Drive towards predictive / self-healing systems.
Improve APIs, SDKs, docs, quick-starts, Postman collections. Reduce friction until "first success" is trivial.
Run ICP interviews, translate insights into product priorities, and validate value delivered.
Be available to support critical incidents, including outside normal working hours, ensuring continuity for mission-critical customer workloads.
Maintain PRDs, event schemas, and diagrams that drive clarity and alignment.
