What you will do

The Associate IS Engineer position offers a unique opportunity to join a fun, innovative engineering team within the AI & Data Science (AI&D) - Enterprise Automation organization. You'll work on next-generation capabilities and services in Applied AI & Automation using innovative COTS products, open-source software, frameworks, tools, and cloud computing services. The role also emphasizes demonstrating these capabilities to support critical business operations and initiatives, in ensuring quality, compliance, and performance across Amgen's Applied AI & Automation Footprint.

As Associate IS Engineer, you will become an integral part of the Self-Service Automation(SSA) and Custom GPT Practice team that helps Amgen staff members to digitally upskill in the field of Automation, Low-code / No-code and GenAI tools so that they can build solutions that optimize their tasks or processes thereby resulting in improved personal or teams' productivity.

As part of the CoE team, you will drive the adoption of this program across various organizations of Amgen through collaboration with cross-functional team members and leaders. This role requires you to constantly adapt to change and be nimble.

• Act as a technical expert to guide staff members and functional teams on their automation and GenAI use cases' development and deployment.
• Provide technical coaching support for Power Automate, Custom GPTs, Uipath and PowerApps use cases.
• Host office hours and other enablement sessions.
• Build varying complexity Cloud and desktop flows in Power Automate.
• Build varying complexity Custom GPTs with Actions, RAG or MCP integrations.
• Build and configure PowerApps (canvas and model-driven).
• Build dashboards in Power BI as per requirements.
• Ensure Agile methodologies are strictly adhered to, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery of value.
• Stay current with the latest AI / ML and GenAI tooling and actively contribute to internal knowledge-sharing forums
• Effective product demonstrations for internal and external collaborators.
