As the Finance Business Partner at PALFINGER IBERICA, you will serve as a strategic financial advisor to the business—delivering robust analysis, proactive risk management, and clear insights to guide decision-making and achieve company objectives. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive profitable growth while upholding strong financial governance and compliance. In addition, you will provide targeted support on select HR matters in Portugal.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver financial insights and risk management to enable operational and strategic decision-making at the business unit level
- Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and performance monitoring, including delivering regular variance analyses and presenting business reviews to senior management
- Ensure robust financial controls, accurate billing, credit management, and timely month-end closings in line with group policies
- Validate contractual changes, support audits, and contribute to public bidding processes
- Develop the accounting team, manage payroll and compliance with labor regulations, and provide support for employee relations, interviews, and contract drafting
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plusProven track record in financial management, compliance, and budgeting, ideally in a business unit or operational environmentAdvanced knowledge of financial tools, ERP systems, and accounting standards, with the ability to ensure compliance with group policies and internal controlsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPI managementExperience managing teams and supporting HR functions, including employee relations, payroll, and contract managementWE OFFER
