We have offices in Lisbon and Porto and are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development, and Maintenance of Information Systems. We are looking for a PL / SQL Developer to join our Financial Services team. You will be part of our Banking Core business unit within Celfocus, contributing to the development of new features, bug fixing, and data analysis.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of professional experience with DB2 for z / OS;
• Strong expertise in DB2 for z / OS administration and related utilities (LOAD, REORG, COPY, etc.);
• Proficiency with query and reporting tools (SPUFI, QMF);
• Knowledge of IT operations in large enterprise environments;
• Strong problem-solving skills, organizational ability, and resilience under stress;
• Willingness to provide 24x7 support when required;
• Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills;
• Experience with Mainview monitoring tools and DB2 Admin utilities, as well as workload automation using Control-M, and change management with Endevor and HPSM are considered a plus;
• Additionally, knowledge of data modeling with PowerDesigner, replication tools such as IBM CDC, and programming in COBOL with familiarity in CICS environments are considered a plus;
• Written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese (C1 or above);
• Candidates must be based in Portugal and possess either European citizenship or a valid Work Visa / Residence Card – mandatory requirement;
