Department : Sales

Location : Lisbon to Algarve

Reports to : Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary :

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and representing the company in the assigned territory. This role requires a deep understanding of the medical device market, the ability to manage complex sales cycles, and a passion for delivering solutions that improve patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Growth : Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting and selling company's portfolio of medical devices to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics within the assigned territory.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, physicians, nurses, procurement departments, and hospital administrators.
  • Territory Management : Plan and execute a strategic territory plan that focuses on high-impact opportunities, regular customer visits, and account management.
  • Product Expertise : Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of company's products, including features, benefits, and competitive positioning, to effectively address customer needs and differentiate from competitors.
  • Sales Presentations & Training : Conduct product demonstrations, sales presentations, and provide training to healthcare professionals on the proper use and benefits of our medical devices.
  • Market Intelligence : Gather and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Compliance : Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Reporting : Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience : 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the medical devices or healthcare industry. Experience with complex sales processes in a B2B environment is preferred.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
  • Knowledge : Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including medical devices, regulatory requirements, and the hospital procurement process.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Interpersonal Skills : Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Travel : Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Occasional international travel may be required.
